Make a Difference...Volunteer!
Share Talents and Expertise with the Hospice Program
To be a hospice volunteer is to provide a wonderful and very important service to people in need. Our volunteers provide invaluable support to our patients, their families, and to our hospice program. There are many different volunteer opportunities available working with patients and families, as well as non-patient-related activities for those volunteers who would be more comfortable with such tasks. Some options include in-home care, transportation, personal care, meal delivery, alternative therapies, bereavement services, office/clerical services, fundraising and events marketing. Our volunteer program, by offering companionship and assistance, helps to improve the quality of life for clients and families experiencing death and dying by providing emotional and social support.
